Your hosts

We're Adri and Mike, and this was our family home long before it was yours to stay in.

We raised our family here, in this house in the Dinokeng bush — the braais on the deck, the kids running between the trees, animals wandering past the fence at dusk. When they grew up and moved overseas, the home was suddenly far too quiet. So instead of letting it go, we opened it up. Now we get to share the place that holds all our best memories with other families making their own.

There's a particular kind of guest we love most: South Africans coming home. If you've been living abroad and you're back to see family, we understand exactly what that visit means — and we've built somewhere that feels like coming home, not like checking into a hotel. Bring everyone. There's room.

We're food people, if you couldn't tell. The pizza oven, the wood braai, the Weber, the gas grill, the bar in the entertainment room — none of that is by accident. Some of our happiest evenings have been around a fire here with a full table, and we've set the place up so yours can be too.

We look after it ourselves, so when you message us you're talking to the people who'll be here when you arrive. Ask us anything — where the lions hang out, where to grab wood and ice, which braai works best for what. Booking straight through us is always the best rate, and it lets us look after you personally from your very first message.
